The Next Drop of New Designers
Just landed at Budapest Select Concept Store, let us introduce our curated edit of new Hungarian labels. From crisp tailoring and sleek lingerie sets to delicate jewellery, here are the fresh new labels for your summer wardrobe.
Handcrafted, from singlet rings to classic hoops, each Babushka jewel is a rare heirloom. Inspired by simplicity, harmony and nature, the clean shapes reflect founder Zita Haklik, who considers balance “an essential value.” Her unique take on jewellery helps you forge a deeper connection with yourself, tuning into your internal joy.
Everyday luxury? Budapest-label, Celeni embraces fine tailoring to achieve effortless sophistication. Launched by Eszter Cselényi in 2010, the label creates versatile pieces that transition seamlessly from day-to-night. For her collections, Eszter takes inspiration from the hidden gems of Hungary, creating an alluring world of modern staples that encourage women to feel good about themselves.
Timeless and sensual, Orsolya Darchi pieces are designed to spark joy. Comprising tulle, silk and marabou feathers, the lingerie sets encapsulate beauty and elegance. “For me, femininity is the greatest inspiration. Women are utterly mesmerizing, while their dedication and passion are simply admirable,” says Orsolya. Each collection aims to “bring something unique that cultivates optimism and zest in life.”
“The opposite of perfection is not imperfection, but realness,” says Áron Szűcs, who launched RPPL by Aaron in 2018. Focusing on genderless looks, the label curates versatile pieces with a touch of individuality. Each piece is about the individual, streamlined to make them feel good. “The one thing we have in common is that we are different. This is what makes us genuine, this is what makes us RPPL.”
